Growing up near the eastern shore of Virginia the marshlands were a common sight. The summer sun about to set turns the grasses a beautiful shade of gold. The waters reflect all the colors of the grasses and sky with the contrast of the depths the the water. This is my home! I have seen this 1000 times either driving across a bridge or riding on the boat. This sense of home brings sensations of warmth and comfort. I know this sun, that sky, those grasses. I can smell the water and hear the distant seagull cries. Looking a the painting up close you can see every color God created and how they work together to form this everyday beauty in nature.
This is an original painting by Dani White. 36×24, Oil on Canvas, unframed. All paintings are signed and dated on the back.
